The client was committed to helping people of diverse backgrounds find employment at big, well-known companies. They wanted job seekers to easily find jobs using keywords, a fast and simple registration for both job seekers and employers. Applying for jobs was just a click, no hassle. They wanted a secure way to charge for some services, and we built payment options into the site. They wanted the website to look great and work fast!
To accommodate the needs of this job portal, we utilized the Laravel framework according to our client’s goals. To optimize search functionality, we engaged several methods to optimize the database, including limiting joins, using indexes, and incorporating full-text search functionality. We simplified and streamlined the registration process for job seekers and providers using Google and LinkedIn sign-ins. We managed the subscription model and payment processing with Stripe, our preferred payment platform. We also facilitated timely communication between job seekers and providers to ensure everything was shipped and set up using SendGrid for the entire emailing process.
